What is Lunar New Year?

Lunar New Year marks the arrival of spring and the beginning of a new year on the lunisolar calendar. Celebrated by billions of people around the world including in Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, and other East and Southeast Asian communities. It is a sacred time for family reunions, honoring ancestors, and welcoming good fortune, peace, and renewal.

Welcome to the Year of the Goat!

The 2027 Lunar New Year officially begins on February 6, 2027, ushering in the Year of the Goat (also known as the Sheep or Ram). In the 12-year Asian zodiac cycle, the Goat represents harmony, gentleness, creativity, and compassion. Values we are thrilled to celebrate with our school family!

Come explore hands-on activities, watch breathtaking dances, and celebrate with us. See you on the south playground!
